He revealed that he and his daughter had recently discussed the idea of her using only her first name.
“I told @miley yesterday I felt good about her going with her first name,” Billy Ray wrote on Instagram.
He compared the idea to other performers who became instantly recognizable by one name.
“I mentioned Dolly and Cher,” he continued. “Thinkin about it more and more … Elvis .. Prince … and so on.”
