The night before my wedding I heard my maid of honour through the hotel wall saying they'd pour wine on my dress and lose the rings. I recorded four minutes of it with my phone against the connecting door.

That is the only part of the day I did design, and I want to be honest about it: I did not do it to protect anything.

The dress was already moved. The rings were already gone. By six in the morning there was nothing left for her to ruin.

I made her stand in a lobby because I wanted her to stand in a lobby.

There were also four people at the top table who had been given a quiet instruction about where she was sitting.

I got married at twelve. It was lovely. I have about two hundred photographs and I am in all of them and I look like somebody who had slept, which I had not.

Nadia Prew was at my wedding from start to finish.

That is the thing people cannot get over. I did not have her removed. She sat at table nine with my aunt's friends and she had the beef and she clapped at the speeches.
