I had asked my fiancé several times not to play embarrassing pranks on me during our wedding reception. I wanted to enjoy our special day without worrying about becoming the center of an uncomfortable joke.
My husband, Daniel, often teased me in front of friends and family. Whenever I told him that his jokes hurt my feelings, he would laugh and say I was taking things too seriously. I hoped our wedding would be different, especially after he promised to respect my wishes.
The ceremony was beautiful, and everything seemed perfect until the cake-cutting moment. While our guests gathered around to take pictures, Daniel suddenly pushed my face into the wedding cake.
I was shocked. When I lifted my head, frosting covered my face, and several guests reacted with surprise. Daniel laughed, apparently expecting me to find the prank amusing.
