Home Entertainment Game Technology Advertisement Part 2: For eight years, my parents made me leave the house every time my brother brought his fiance over; Mom said, “She comes from a good family, don’t embarrass us”; Dad added, “Just disappear for the weekend”; I did; then one weekend, I never came back; it took them four years to find out where I went.

Another message appeared.

**STACEY, YOU LEFT FOUR YEARS AGO.**

A second followed.

**BUT HE'S STILL HERE.**

I couldn't breathe.

Then a final message arrived.

**ASK MITCH WHY YOUR LITTLE BROTHER HAS NEVER BEEN ALLOWED OUTSIDE.**

I stared at the screen.

My little brother?

I had never been told I had a brother.

I looked at Avery.

Her face had gone completely white.

And before I could speak, she whispered:

"Stacey, there's something in Grandma Ruth's will I haven't shown you."

My heart pounded.

"What?"

Avery began crying.

"She left the farm to two people."

I stared at her.

"Me and who?"

Her voice broke.

"Your brother."

The room fell silent.

Then she whispered his name.

**Ethan Lockheart.**

I stopped breathing.

Ethan.

A name I hadn't heard in years.

And suddenly, another memory surfaced.

A little boy sitting beside my bed.

His hands wrapped around mine.

Crying as he whispered:

*Stacey, please don't leave me here.*
