“You could’ve asked me to take her.”

His head lifted.
“You told me you had something to finish.”
He looked away.
“You were sending the picture to Glen and Max, weren’t you?”
Silence.
Then:
“Yes.”
I struggled to keep my voice from breaking.
“So while I was trying to comfort our daughter, you were taking pictures of my postpartum body and sending them to your brothers so they could laugh.”
“Kelsey, I’m sorry.”
“Did you ever think about how I would feel if I saw those messages?”
“I never thought you would.”
