**David Creed didn't come willingly. **
Elias took a step to one side.
“Your father has people outside.”
“I know.”
“You have a gun on me.”
“I know.”
“Do you plan to use it?”
David looked at the revolver as if he had forgotten that he was holding him in his hand.
Then, suddenly, he pointed it at the door.
A gunshot exploded.
Elias moved instinctively.
But David didn't shoot at him.
The bullet hit the lamp next to the back door.
The darkness swallowed half of the cottage.
“To the ground!” - David shouted.
Gunfire broke out of trees.
The wood shattered.
Mara threw herself on the twins.
Elias fired once through the broken window.
A man outside shouted.
David slammed the back door.
“Do you have a cellar?”
"No."
“Pod?”
"No."
“Tunnels?”
Elias looked at him.
“This is a cabin, not a fortress.”
David swore.
Another bullet pierced the wall.
