He took me into a side room and he told me, in about four minutes, in plain words, and he kept his hand on my arm for the whole of it.
And then he said: "He's on at the moment. Do you want me to get him, or do you want to go home and let him tell you tonight?"
He gave me the choice.
And I sat in that room for about six minutes and I chose to go home.
