Noelle is twenty-nine and I have no quarrel with her and I am not going to pretend to one.
She did not know about the directorship. She did not know about eleven years of books. She had no reason to know either and she has never said one unkind thing to me in two years.
Noelle has written to me twice since.
Both times about Wren and Pip. Both times sensible and about four lines long.
The second one had a sentence in it about Ramsey that I am not going to repeat here, and that I think she will regret having written down, and that I have not answered.
There are two solicitors now, a barrister's opinion, and about four hundred pages of it, and it will not be quick.
Ms Rutherford has those four files. She has had them eleven weeks.
And she has not said one single word to me about the September.
