“Yes.”
Ryan stood.
“Turn that off.”
“Not yet.”
“Kelsey, what are you doing?”
“I’m showing everyone what you’ve been saying about me.”
I looked around the room.
“Your brothers already know.”
Then I looked at Tess and Olive.
“But their wives don’t.”
Next slide.
The contract comment.
Glen’s laughing response underneath.
Tess slowly turned toward her husband.
“You thought this was funny?”
Glen shifted.
“It was private.”
“That wasn’t my question.”
Olive looked at Max.
“Did you laugh too?”
Max’s face reddened.
He nodded.
“I shouldn’t have.”
Ryan stepped toward the television.
“How did you get those?”
“Your account was still signed into the iPad.”
“You went through my private conversations?”
I almost laughed.
“You took photographs of me without my permission.”
“That doesn’t give you the right to show everybody.”
I stared at him.
“Why was it okay when you showed your brothers?”
