Meghan Is Reportedly Heading to the UK This Week – but There Are Conditions Attached to the Visit – Details

Just weeks earlier, in June, Prince Harry and Meghan appeared to be preparing for a family trip to the United Kingdom connected to the Invictus Games. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been vacationing in Europe with Archie and Lilibet ahead of the planned visit,  on June 28, 2026.

Harry and Meghan had confirmed that they intended to travel to Britain in July for engagements marking the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

At that stage, the couple was expected to make public appearances, while their children were not believed to be taking part in any official engagements.

However, the plans soon appeared to fall apart amid concerns over the family’s security arrangements in Britain.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties in 2020, opting for what they called a “financially independent” life in California. Since then, family visits to Britain have been rare.

Harry has flown there solo several times — for the late Queen’s funeral (which Meghan also attended), his father’s 2023 coronation, and in January 2026 for a court appearance in his lawsuit against the publisher of the Daily Mail.
