Kelly pointed out during the interview that “Total Eclipse of the Heart” had accumulated a billion streams on Spotify, and suggested the singer could comfortably retire on what the record alone had earned her.
Tyler’s corrected the assumption on the spot. “But I didn’t write the song! I’m just a singer, you know, so I didn’t write that song,” she said.
